Zambia and Kenya Strengthen Diplomatic Ties in Science and Technology

Nairobi, Kenya – Zambia and Kenya have strengthened their diplomatic ties through a courtesy visit by Minister of Technology and Science, Hon. Felix Mutati, and Permanent Secretary Dr. Brilliant Habeenzu to Kenya’s Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy, where they met with Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy, H.E. Hon. William Kabogo.
The meeting, held at the Ministry Headquarters, aimed to enhance collaboration between the two nations in the areas of innovation, digital skills, and connectivity. Both countries are committed to accelerating digital and socio-economic transformation, with Kenya’s progress serving as a model for digital and socio-economic transformation. Zambia and Kenya agreed to establish a framework for cooperation, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices in science, technology, and innovation. The discussions focused on leveraging innovation and expanded connectivity to drive growth and development.
This development highlights the strong relations between Zambia and Kenya, built on mutual respect and shared aspirations for growth. By sharing expertise and experiences, both countries aim to accelerate their digital transformation agendas.
